Ashdown Forest Garden Design

PJC’s Landscape designer Tim Ruffles was contacted by a local garden contractor whose client wanted a graphical landscape design to be put to their local planning authority.
The clients new build is situated within the Ashdown Forest, sunken into the landscape and surrounded by trees.
Working closely with the client we chose the materials carefully blending constructed and unconstructed elements to achieve an overall natural look that would not detract from the forest.
The planting style was made to compliment the modern house yet not draw from the picturesque surroundings.
