PJC Consultancy delivers a comprehensive range of landscape design services and consultancy solutions, backed by a team of experienced landscape consultants and planning professionals. We work across diverse sectors, supporting commercial developers, private residential clients, local authorities, and organisations in education, retail, healthcare, leisure, and infrastructure.
Our landscape-led approach addresses the complex environmental and planning challenges faced by modern developments. Our landscape planning consultants specialise in delivering solutions that meet regulatory requirements, including 10% Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and Tree Canopy Cover calculations, ensuring your project achieves both compliance and lasting value, where possible avoiding the need for off-site BNG credit purchases.
From site appraisal and feasibility studies to detailed design for Landscape Planning Condition submission – hard and soft landscape schemes, and implementation support and schedules, we manage every stage of the landscape process with precision and care. We specialise in navigating the complex regulatory landscape of modern development, offering solutions that integrate green infrastructure, sustainable design principles, and biodiversity enhancements.
Our creative landscape designers can develop sensitive, and landscape led, inspired schemes working with architects, planners and a range of consultancy disciplines, including PJC in house ecological and arboricultural consultants, on projects large or small to navigate the planning process and deliver beautiful landscapes for people & communities to thrive and our native environment to flourish sustainably.
You will find a detailed breakdown of the landscape design services we offer here;
1. Landscape Planning and Consultancy
Our skilled landscape planning consultants conduct thorough site appraisals and feasibility studies to identify opportunities and constraints early on. We prepare detailed Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) to support planning applications and ensure compliance with environmental policies. With a deep understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain and tree canopy requirements, we help clients achieve critical environmental targets that satisfy regulatory frameworks and mitigations.
2. Landscape Design Services
Our landscape design services combine creativity with technical precision to bring your vision to life. From conceptual design through detailed planting and hardscape plans, our landscape designers craft inspiring and practical schemes that enhance the natural and built environment. We specialise in landscape-led master planning, public realm improvements, and the integration of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) to manage water effectively.
3. Environmental and Ecological Integration
We understand that successful landscape design requires close collaboration with ecological and arboricultural experts. PJC Consultancy’s integrated approach brings together in-house ecologists and arboricultural consultants to address habitat protection, tree management, and biodiversity enhancement from the outset. Our landscape-led ecological mitigation strategies ensure developments minimise environmental impact and often improve habitat connectivity and quality.
4. Landscape Construction Support
PJC Consultancy provides practical advice and oversight to ensure your landscape design is implemented to the highest standards. We prepare clear tender packages, manage contract administration, and offer on-site supervision to coordinate contractors effectively. Post-construction, we develop maintenance strategies and provide aftercare guidance, helping your landscape mature gracefully and deliver lasting value.
5. Sector-Specific Landscape Consultancy
Whether working on residential developments, commercial and industrial sites, healthcare or education campuses, leisure and retail projects, transport infrastructure, or public sector schemes, our landscape consultants bring sector-specific knowledge and expertise. We understand the varying planning requirements, environmental considerations, and community expectations in each sector, enabling us to deliver bespoke landscape strategies that support project objectives while enhancing environmental and social outcomes.
