Arboricultural & Ecological Consultancy – Major Infrastructure Project

PJC Consultancy provided Arboricultural and Ecological consultancy to Balfour Beatty and Highways England throughout the construction phase of the A21 Tonbridge to Pembury Dualling Project.
The £70 million highway scheme was required to relieve congestion on the busy A21 between Longfield Road roundabout and the Vauxhall Lane roundabout. PJC Consultancy Arboriculturists and Ecologists worked closely with Balfour Beatty throughout the three years of construction due to the projects proximity to areas of mature woodland.
Services provided included competing arboricultural surveys, arboricultural hazard evaluation surveys, production of tree constraints plans and tree protection plans, production of arboricultural method statements, aerial bat box inspections, installation of dormice boxes and arboricultural and ecological supervision.
