Aerial Tree Inspection
To adequately assess the condition of a tree, it may be necessary to perform an aerial tree inspection. It is often the case that a defect on a tree is positioned in an area not visible from ground level or is simply too far away to assess its likely implication. This is usually the case on the tallest trees or trees with dense crowns.
All arboricultural consultants at PJC Consultancy are qualified and capable to perform aerial tree inspections using a rope and harness, as well as possessing up to date mobile elevated work platform, (MEWP) training to allow inspection of awkward or potentially dangerous trees.
An aerial tree inspection will thoroughly expedite the duty of care for the tree owner and help create a fuller picture of the tree's structural stability, thereby negating the need to perform unnecessary remedial tree work. Conversely, an aerial tree inspection may show a defect to be of greater significance that it appeared at ground level. In this case remedial tree works may prevent a tree from failing and causing significant damage or harm.
