Arboricultural Services
Under current legislation tree owners have a duty of care to prevent their trees from causing harm or damage. Regular inspection by a competent person can discharge this duty, with the competent person becoming responsible for the trees health and safety. PJC carry out safety inspections for a number of clients including the Highways Agency, schools, Local Authorities and private homeowners. A typical tree survey and report will include a description of each tree, its dimensions and state of health, work requirements and time scales to complete the work in. A plan showing each tree's location is provided to aid interpretation. As well as standard surveys we can also carry out more detailed works such as:

Trees in Relation to Construction (BS: 5837:2005)
Local Planning Authorities, (LPA's) now require an arboriculturalist to assess and provide input where trees are present or adjacent to a site. PJC specialises in tree surveys conforming to the requirements of BS5837:2005 |
